In the 38 years since Terry Munday set up the company with £300 of hard earned savings, Anglia has grown from a one-man company to become one of the country’s most successful independent freight forwarding groups, with a full spread of international services and close working relationships with a network of like-minded forwarding companies around the world.

The company’s commitment to providing quality customer service is amply shown by the investments made in The Anglia Centre, its corporate headquarters in Rainham, Essex.

Opened in 1987, it remains one of the very few purpose-built freight, Customs approved terminals in Britain to be owned and operated by an independent freight forwarding company.

Additionally, successful branches in Birmingham, Felixstowe and London Heathrow Airport give Anglia geographical coverage where its needed.

While proud of its past, Anglia continues to invest in the future.

This has taken the form of a major ongoing investment in its computer systems and ongoing commitment to training staff at all levels. The result is that they too have the knowledge, experience and confidence to better themselves, to offer ever higher standards of service to our customers and thus play their part in the continuing success story of Anglia Forwarding.
